Angel of the Sepulchre is one of many sculptures in this gallery created by an artist that lived in Albany during the 1800s named Erastus Dow Palmer. He made many sculptures in addition to the ones you see here. Some of his works are at the Metropolitan Museum in NYC and even one is in the Capitol in Washington.
Enjoy looking at all of the sculptures here and up the stairs. Have fun and try to pose like the sculptures you see or even create your own sculpture poses.
Don’t forget to take your picture and share it on our Face book page! Your next stop will be up the stairs in one of the wall niches. You can go up the stairs to the 3rd floor or take the elevator by the main glass door.
